The Dillon Cranegard® Clamps on cables for wire rope hoist, elevator and crane overload and slackline detection. Typically used to stop upward movement of crane once limit is reached. This is a pure mechanical switch with know other sensors or electronics.

How to order a Cranegard

1. Select Dillon Cranegard item number CGS-X. 2. Select pulley size (determined by line thickness). 
3. Select switch type and number of switches.
4. Select switch set point(s), the weight the switch will trip.

Example: For a 10,000 lb capacity unit with pulleys grooved for 5/8" rope diameter, with two explosion proof  switches(type C), set at 8,000 and 9,000 Lbs

Purchase Order Description: “Dillon CGS-3-C3 For 7/8" line diameter; Switch settings at 8,000 lb and 9,000 lb both ascending"
