Sartorius mass comparators are used at national institutes of metrology, in national and industrial calibration laboratories as well as in weights and measures offices, including verification offices for legal metrology, to meet their exceptional requirements for measuring accuracy and reliability.

These mass comparators can be used in a range of 1 mg to 1 kg in calibration laboratories.
By selecting one micro-, semi-microand analytical model each, you will cover the entire needs of a calibration laboratory up to 1 kg. With these full-range mass comparators, you can calibrate not only weights that have the usual nominal mass values but also test weights of any mass.
All analytical range mass comparators have been designed so that they do not require centering devices that would restrict the space available within the weighing chamber.
The power supply and the electronics for display and evaluation are separate from the weighing system to prevent heat from affecting the accuracy of the results.
Density determination is easy with a Sartorius mass comparator using the hanger for below-balance weighing. The hanger for weighing is a standard feature on most mass comparators in this product spectrum.
